Leadership and Management Level 5

The Leadership and Management Level 5 training programme is for anyone who is accountable to a more senior manager, head of department or small business owner, and are responsible for the operational and/or policy delivery of the organisation’s strategy. It is suitable for professional managers from all sectors – the private, public or third sector – and all sizes of organisation. It will typically take up to 2 ½ years to complete, although the exact duration will be dependent on the previous experience of the individual.

An operations/departmental manager is generally someone who is able to manage teams and/or projects, and has responsibility for planning, delivering and achieving departmental goals and objectives. It is applicable to professional managers from all sectors – the private, public or third sector – and all sizes of organisation. It will typically take up to 2 ½ years to complete, although the exact duration will be dependent on the previous experience of the individual.

Working in the private, public or third sector and in all sizes of organisation, specific responsibilities will vary, but the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed will be the same whatever the role.

The course will support the learner grow and develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to deliver strong leadership and direction.

The level 5 management course is ideal for: operations managers, departmental managers, divisional managers, specialist managers and those accountable to more senior managers or business owners. Key responsibilities may include creating and delivering operational plans, managing projects, leading and managing teams, managing change, financial and resource management, talent management, coaching and mentoring and this course will support them in learning these skills and meet private, public or voluntary organisation’s goals.

A level 5 Leadership and Management training programme that will support any operations/departmental manager role in any sector. It will typically take up to 2 ½ years to complete, through ‘on the job’ learning although the exact duration will be dependent on the previous experience of the individual. This training programme will provide the key information required to manage and develop team members, manage projects, plan and monitor workloads and resources, along with taking responsibility for delivering operational plans, resolving problems, and building relationships.
